The USS PRIDE DE 323 was commissioned on 13 November 1943. Under the command of Commander R. R. Curry, USCG of Washington D. C., she proceeded to Bermuda for her shakedown cruise. After six weeks of intensive training there, she was judged ready for her assigned task. Below is the aft of the USS PRIDE during part of her shakedown cruise.
